'From the moment he walks on stage until the second he says goodnight the room is filled with laughter' - Chortle 4/5
Having toured America for over a decade, appeared in the Broadway smash Hairspray, supported Frank Sinatra and starred in the last ever episode of Seinfeld, legendary American stand up John Pinette plays his first UK shows outside of the Edinburgh festival. In his new show he explores the little things that cause him to lose his cherub-like demeanour; getting stuck at the back of the dinner queue, being confronted by stupidity or made to do exercise. Pinette is thoroughly engaging – cartoon angry when irritated by life’s minor irritations and self deprecating when it comes to issues of looks or weight.
John Pinette - Big reputation, big waistline and big laughs.
“If he was an All You Can Eat buffet, I would still be going back for more.” FOUR STARS The Guardian Edinburgh Fringe
